Dog Insurance covers the cost of veterinary fees in case veterinary treatment is required as a result of an illness or injury your dog has sustained. Optional Death Benefits will indemnify the price paid for your dog if it either dies or has to be put to sleep by a vet during the policy year as result of an injury or illness. In addition, if property is damaged, or someone is killed, injured or falls ill as a result of an incident involving your dog during the policy year, and you are legally responsible, we will pay the following:

	Compensation, claimants’ costs and expenses
	Legal costs and expenses for defending a claim against you
